Eileen Lian has more than 25 years of experience in journalism, publishing and market research. She was Group Editor of the computing and communications group at Singapore-based regional trade publishing firm, Asian Business Press, heading the editorial operations of three leading industry publications, including Asia Computer Weekly, before staying home to become a full-time parent.

Since 2004, Eileen has been writing and editing on a freelance basis. Her clients include newspapers, magazines, businesses and NGOs such as ACP Magazines (Asia), Asia Asset Management Journal, CCH (a Wolters Kluwer business), MPH Printing, Ren Publishing, Selangor Dredging Bhd, Singular Asset Management, SIRD (Strategic Information and Research Development) publishers, Sisters in Islam, the South China Morning Post, Sungard Financial Systems, Public Mutual Bhd, Swire Resources, The Asian Banker and Watson Wyatt.

She graduated from the National University of Singapore with an honours degree in economics and has worked in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong and travelled extensively to the U.S. and throughout the Asian region covering the information technology industry during its formative years.

Eileen is currently based in Kuala Lumpur where she specialises in generating cogent and relevant content for publishers, businesses, individuals and NGOs all over the world. She is also available for editorial consultancy and media relations work.
